StrataTele

I think its actually a Fender Bronco body (slightly narrower that a Strat). The neck is ALL Telecaster. It is small, light, fast and true. The pickups are Fender Lace Pickups. I love this guitar. It's the electric that you hear in all my tunes. I play this electric through a Johnson J-Station. This is a very cool little electric guitar. I call it my StrataTele. In 1997 while living in Iowa I met a very cool musician named Roger Schnieder. Roger was raised on a farm in Iowa and made (or makes) his living driving tractors. Roger is a singer/songwriter too. He wanted to become a Luthier so he went to a Luthier school (I think in Minneapolis). He made a great Martin knock-off acoustic. One day he was at my house and I said "you know what I would love? A Stratocaster body with a Telecaster neck. I have always loved the sound of a Stratocaster, but I love the feel of the Telecaster neck. The conversation went on and that was the end of it. About a month later Roger called and said "you're guitar is done". I was blown away. I got a great deal on it. Around $300 with hardshell. Thank you ROGER!
